Step 3. Remove the
two motor coupling set screws then re-thread them
one full turn.
Step 4.
Remove any strapping on the white, black and blue
motor wires and straighten them out.
Step 5.
Place the canopy on the downrod as show then thread
the motor wires through until you can insert the
end of the downrod into the motor coupling.
Step 6.
Rotate the downrod until the holes in the downrod
and motor coupling line up.
Step 7.Carefully
guide the clevis pin past the wires inside the
downrod until the flat washer and hitch pin can
be installed. Tighten the two set screws so that
there is no movement of the downrod in the motor
coupling.
Step 8.
Cut the motor leads approximately 9" after
they leave the downrod. Strip off insulation 1/2"
from the end of each lead. |
