Fan Microprocessor
Normal Start-Up
After power is applied
to the fan RCM it takes 20 seconds for the microprocessor
to warm-up and stabilize.
During this time the
microprocessor runs its own self check and then reads
the last channel identity code stored in the NOVRAM memory
chip.
Throughout the 20 second
self check period the fan will not accept any transmitted
signals.
After a successful self
check the microprocessor allows up to 120 seconds for
receipt of a new channel identity code and will reprogram
the NOVRAM memory chip.
After 140 seconds from
power turn on, the RCM blocks further access to the NOVRAM
memory chip, re-reads the channel identity code now stored
in the NOVRAM, and is ready for operation. |

number. Stop at a channel number that is not being used
in the area.
