FAN PREPARATION

Prepare for fan installation as follows:

Before starting, take a moment and read the red and white warning shield attached to the top of the fan as shown. After the fan is installed and the lock screw has been tightened, remove this shield when installation has been completed.

NOTE: DO NOT cut the wires until you get to (Step 6.)

 



Step 1. Using the provided allen wrench, loosen the set screw several turns to allow installation of the downrod as shown.


Step 2. Rout the wires from the motor through the canopy and trim ring. Then place the canopy and trim ring on to the top support of the fan as shown.
