Description and Operation

The potentiometer-featured on all Slumber Quiet models-regulates the speed or revolutions per minute (rpm) of the fan blades from very slow to fast. The control achieves this by acting upon the voltage across the fan motor. By reducing the voltage to the motor, the fan motor operates at a reduced power output and, consequently, a lower speed. That is, when the dial is in the extreme counterclockwise position, the fan operates at its slowest speed.
