The blades of a Casablanca fan are fashioned for exceptional performance and timeless beauty. The highest quality materials are selected for long lasting durability and perfectly balanced operation. Casablanca's eight-ply construction uses six layers of wood in a cross laminated pattern for extra strength and resistance to warping. The two outside layers are real furniture grade wood veneers. Other manufacturers may use cheaper materials in construction and finishing, including pressed fiberboard or plywood, with imitation, photo graphic paper overlays that attempt to simulate real wood finishes.
