During
the warranty period we repair, or at our option replace at no charge, a defective
product. Where available Casablanca will provide free in-home service
for a period of 120 days from the date of purchase on normal installations only. (Note: A "Normal" installation is defined as a fan mounted on a ceiling
less than 10 feet in height.) The Consumer will be required to pay for
any equipment, service/labor charge for ceilings over 10 feet. See your dealer

This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by improper installation,
neglect, accident, misuse, exposure to extremes of heat of humidity, or as a result
of service or modification by other than an authorized Casablanca service center.
All costs of installing, removing and reinstalling the product are the responsibility
of the owner. Warranty motor repairs must come back to the factory for replacement.
Casablanca will not pay for shipping charges incurred in sending the defective
product from the customer to Casablanca Fan Co., but will pay for return UPS shipment.
Glass shades may vary due to availability. Hand blown glass may contain blisters,
seeds, or thin lines. These characteristics are not defects, but substantiate
that this is handblown and handcrafted glass. No other expressed warranty is given.
The repair or replacement of a product is your exclusive remedy. Any implied warranty
of merchantability or fitness is limited to the duration of this written warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitations may not apply to you. In no event shall Casablanca be liable
for consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. |
